WHAT DOES YOUR MORNING ROUTINE LOOK LIKE? Regardless of what time the day ends, I find myself waking up mornings at 7:30am (weekends around 9am). I start the day with gratitude and appreciative of another morning to make a difference, and with that difference some type of impact. I follow this up with my routine affirmations and hone in on what needs to get tackled for the day. Typically, this transitions to checking and answering e-mails, following up with clients and their projects and new business outreach. I do this for about 6 to 8 hours a day and repeat the process. Currently, I’m my own client and I’m dedicating focus, time and energy into developing my personal brand as a writer, creating content and building my following on social media and preparing for a number personal brand projects over the course of 2018.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR?
The best part? Easily, that’s ownership of one’s time. Having the opportunity to craft the day and design it in such way that it not only creates a sense of accomplishment but knowing I’m able to make some type of a difference in the life of someone else really means the world.

For me, it’s coming to terms with not having enough time. I think of myself as hyper-creative with so many ideas and concepts that I wrestle with from time to time being able to getting some passion projects launched. I am, however learning to be more patient and keep in mind that all great thing do in fact take time. I’m trusting the process every step of the way.

The most important thing hands down is yourself. Whether that’s time or even a monetary investment there are a number of things an entrepreneur needs in order to achieve his or her perspective of success. The first place to start is with one’s self. Belief in who is and what one does makes how one get there better in all sense of the word.

Without a doubt being able to get up everyday, chase dreams, and be creative while doing so means everything.
HOW DO YOU STAY FOCUSED/PRODUCTIVE AND MAKE THE BEST OF THE SAME 24 HOURS THAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS?
Focus and productivity by far is managed what get hasn’t and hasn’t gotten accomplished. Should I be in a position or situation where I’m not making the progress I need to, it’s a clear sign that I need to get more focused and productive with my efforts.
WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO/FOLLOW ON SOCIAL MEDIA/USE AS A MENTOR?
With a focus on the personal brand and venturing in a direction of writing, I follow a number of talented wordsmiths within my niche. To name a few I take great delight in reading and am very inspired by the following writers: @l.e.bowman.poetry, @simplygeorgy, @k.tolnoe, @therandomstories, @l.zyers, @followyourheartbabygirl, @lion.in.the.stars @what_the_canuck @amefonce, @soulfullyscribbled and @whentheinkdries as I read their work rather frequent and learn so much from their words, thoughts and perspectives.
WHAT IS THE BEST PIECE OF BUSINESS ADVICE THAT YOU’VE EVER GOTTEN?
Trust the process. When things may seem slow or stagnant keep chipping away at what you set out to do. All eventually ends up falling into place.
WHAT IS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE THAT YOU’VE EVER GIVEN?
“Time tells all until you tell it.” Meaning that there are things that time will tell you through experience that helps develop you as a person and become the entrepreneur you want to be. However it isn’t until we start taking charge or rather take initiative when it comes to our entrepreneurial endeavors that we begin to tell time that we’re ready to step into our purpose.
WHAT DOES NO ONE TELL YOU ABOUT BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR?
No matter how much schooling or advice you receive, experience is and will always be your best teacher. There are times where in order to progress, you have to be willing to fall forward.
